It is holiday time for many of us here in the Vivaldi offices, so we wanted to get out a small update before we leave the office. Another recent regression is fixed, two more mouse gestures (for Fast Forward and Rewind and further bugs killed. Enjoy!
New Snapshot time! We’ve fixed the freeze that Windows 10 users were experiencing with videos on news sites, Twitter and Facebook.
In today’s snapshot we introduce a fantastic new first run welcome page, fix some annoying bugs and provide an alternative Windows installation package for antivirus vendors who like misspeolled wrds!
Today’s snapshot fixes the major issue reported in the last one, meaning that scrolling should be smoother and you will see less “Dead Birds”. We have also done a bit more work on search suggestions, got Netflix working again and introduced a minimum size for the active tab. We also addressed the bug that a number of you raised with keyboard shortcuts not working after viewing the source of a page.
