The contest includes Roundtrip airfare, three nights accommodation, Meet and Greet with the Vivaldi Team.
Method of entry
Entrants in Vivaldi’s “Win a trip to meet Vivaldi in Oslo in 2019” competition agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. To enter, contestants must:
(a) satisfy the eligibility limitations set out in paragraph 3;
(b) enter during the Competition Period, i.e. between the time the competition is announced on Vivaldi’s blog and midnight CET on January 10th, 2019; and
(c) complete an entry online by posting their replies in the comments section under the competition announcement on Vivaldi.com or under the competition announcement on Vivaldi’s Twitter, Facebook or Instagram pages.
Competition duration
The Competition runs during the Competition Period. Entries received after the closure of the Competition Period will not be eligible.
Eligibility limitations
Entrants must be individuals of 18 years or older and eligible to travel.
The following persons are ineligible to enter the competition:
(a) employees of Vivaldi; and
(b) the spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), of such employees (whether or not they live in the same household).
All entrants acknowledge that even if Vivaldi only learns of a person’s ineligibility after Vivaldi has appeared to award the Prize to the ineligible person, it may require the return of the Prize or payment of its value.
Entry visas
The winner will be responsible for obtaining an entry visa to Norway if that is required.
The draw
20 entries will be shortlisted by Vivaldi and a winner will be drawn out of a hat.
The winning entrant will be notified by email, through the Vivaldi forum, or via Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.
Competition administration
ID that includes a photograph, proof of age and identity may be required.
It is the sole responsibility of each winning entrant to claim their prize.
If for any reason a prize remains unclaimed one month after notification has been sent to the winning entrant, the competition will be redrawn.
Prize collection
All entrants acknowledge that Vivaldi has the right to publicize and publish his / her name.
Dates of travel
The dates of travel will be agreed with the winner but times like Easter and the best part of June and July will not be possible as the Vivaldi team is away or traveling for annual team meetings.
Vivaldi’s limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Vivaldi is not responsible or liable for:
(i) any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software;
(ii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website;
(iii) Vivaldi will not be liable for personal injury suffered during Prize winnings or due to or in connection with the receipt of or utilization of a Prize.
(iv) This condition does not affect and is not intended to affect, any rights a consumer might have, which cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
(v) If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of Vivaldi which corrupts or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, Vivaldi reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, subject to any written directions given by the various Lottery Departments, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition.
