This time we bring a release focused on stability, loaded with improvements and bug fixes, so that our users can browse through the web with less friction and more control. Among other things, we’ve been polishing our tab management and UI Auto-hide features, so that they’re ready
Still packed with great features
Our previous release, Vivaldi 8.0, brought a complete design overhaul, new unified themes and curated layout presets that cater to every audience. Together with our UI Auto-hide feature, these changes have completely revolutionized the look of Vivaldi.
Our tab management system is still unrivalled. Tile as many pages as you want, just how you want. Use Follower Tab to explore links from an article without ever losing your place in it. Group your tabs into named, colour-coded Stacks. Use the Tab Button to search everything at once: open tabs, synced tabs from your other devices, recently closed tabs. Your mail, your calendar, your notes, your reading list: all of it lives inside Vivaldi, organised on your terms, always within reach.
Our built-in Tracker and Ad Blocker helps safeguard you from tracking ads. There’s no need for a third-party extension to make web pages load faster, and protect your devices from malicious snooping.
