In this snapshot we have a range of tab and themes fixes.

Known Issues

Those of you who had previously edited a default theme and upgraded through recent snapshots will encounter broken default themes (e.g. empty contents for “Zen” and “Soria Moria”). This will not affect anyone who did not upgrade though those snapshots, so will not affect stable users once we go final.

If you do encounter this issue you can either reset your profile or do the following workaround steps:

  • Open vivaldi://inspect/#apps
  • Click on “inspect” below “main.html”
  • Select the “Console”
  • Type: chrome.storage.local.set({ SETTINGS_MIGRATION_VERSION: 181 }) (and press “Enter”)
  • Restart the browser
