Minor update (2) for Vivaldi Desktop Browser 7.8

This update includes fixes for crashes, along with several other issues, and a minor upgrade to Chromium 144 (Extended Stable Release) from upstream, which in turn includes security fixes from Chromium 145.

The following improvements were made since the first 7.8 minor update:

  • [Ad Blocker] Make sure the folder for downloaded adblocking rules is always created (VIB-1713)
  • [Bookmarks] Ampersand shown in bookmark bar folders when items they should be underlined (VB-124777)
  • [Chromium] Update to 144.0.7559.175 ESR (includes security fixes from 145.0.7632.45)
  • [Crash] Dump while initializing histogram buckets: something to do with site settings/permissions (VB-123373)
  • [Crash] Prevent icon lookup after menu has closed (VB-123142)
  • [Crash][macOS] Crashlog generated on auto-update (VB-121824)
  • [Crashlogger][Installer][Windows] No uploads when opted-in via the installer (VB-124679)
  • [Dashboard] JSError reading widgets on new profile (VB-124765)
