Unlimited tabs in split-screen
Tab Tiling lets you view more than one page at a time, side by side or in a grid. For work and play — great for comparing deals or monitoring multiple Twitch streams!
Multi-level tab groups
A key example of our unparalleled tab management. Just drag and drop your tabs to organize them in tab groups, which we call stacks. These can be renamed and colour-coded. Your stacks will remain in the main tab bar, and a second level will appear once you click on them, showing you the tabs within that group.

You can install extentions from the Chrome Web Store. Vivaldi is Chromium-based, so it runs the same extensions as Opera with no special setup.

Is there a way to get Opera-style workspaces in Vivaldi?
Yes. Vivaldi has its own workspaces feature, which works a lot like Opera’s. It lets you group tabs into separate spaces to avoid the chaos of an overcrowded tab bar. Vivaldi takes the tab management further with two-level tab groups and unlimited tab tiling in split-screen.

Can I transfer my Opera data to Vivaldi?
Yes, bookmarks, passwords and history can be imported into Vivaldi during the setup process.

Does Vivaldi have RAM usage controls?
Yes, Vivaldi has performance settings that allow you to free up memory, as well as manual hibernation of tabs, background tabs, and even workspaces.

Does Vivaldi have an AI assistant like Opera AI (Aria)?
No. Despite the pressure from the tech industry, we have rejected the idea of adding AI from the beginning. We have chosen a human-first approach and will not have any chatbots or AI summarization tool.
