We’re an independent browser company based in Norway and Iceland. We believe the web is for exploring, and that browsing should help you to discover and chase ideas. It should light up your brain.

Your browser is probably the application you spend the most time using. We say “probably”, because we can’t be sure; unlike most browsers, we don’t track our users. After all, your browser is more than just an app. It’s where you plan, learn, connect, and create. It's your basecamp for exploring the great, vast, web. So your browser should help you get more done, reflect how you like to work, all without compromise.
Vivaldi is full of tools to help you explore, tools that other browsers need extensions to mimic. We build them in, so you know where they’re from. Unlike other browsers, we don’t include an artificial assistant to browse the web for you, filtering what you see and deciding what you don’t see.
We choose humans over hype and we will not turn the joy of exploring into passive spectatorship. Because without exploration, the web becomes far less interesting. Our curiosity loses oxygen, and the diversity of the web dies.
We created Vivaldi because we love the web.

We’re based in Norway and Iceland, where privacy rules are strong – so your data is away from Big Tech’s insatiable appetite for your personal information to sell to advertisers. All in all, we are 25 nationalities working across seven countries.
비즈니스 모델
We have no external investors to make us do shady things in the relentless pursuit of ever-bigger profits. We don’t track or profile you. We don’t collect usage data. We answer only to our vibrant community of 4.0 million users (and counting!), who help shape the browser.
Of course, while we are not in this to “become the next tech conglomerate”, we need to make a living and pay the bills to keep doing what we do – in an ethical way.
