Hvordan integrere nettleseren Vivaldi på Linux
Vivaldi web browser integrates seamlessly with Linux distros. Make your users feel right at home by integrating Vivaldi into yours.
Denne nettleseren tilhører din distro
Vivaldi is not like other browsers. It rejects Big Tech's one-size-fits-all approach to software, putting the user in control.
Everything in Vivaldi is customizable and built around respecting the user's right to privacy and security – just like in Linux.
Vivaldi browser is designed with Linux in mind, not as an afterthought. We've made it easy for you to use it with your favorite Linux distro, so you can enjoy all of the unique benefits and features in one convenient package.
To måter å integrere Vivaldi på
Vivaldi has two main ways to integrate into your distro, enabling ultra-customizable web browsing – by becoming a system-wide browser or by integrating into desktop environments.
Gjør Vivaldi til en nettleser for hele systemet
With this option, you can make Vivaldi the system-wide web browser for all accounts. This will give new users of your distro a familiar experience, while integrating all the benefits of Vivaldi into your distro.
Integrate into the desktop environments
This option is ideal if you're managing a distro that uses multiple desktop environments. In this case, you can customize Vivaldi for integration in each DE, giving users maximum flexibility while maintaining uniformity across their experience on your distro.
Let’s customize Vivaldi for your distro
Whether you're a distro manager or a regular Linux user, Vivaldi has everything you need to customize the browser to your heart's content.
Egendefinerte temaer
Start by customizing the default browser theme. This is a great way to make Vivaldi feel like it belongs on your Linux distro (which matches the style of your distro).
Whether you're looking for a way to bring your color palette into Vivaldi or add a splash of color that matches your existing branding, we've got you covered.
Egendefinerte søkemotorer
Next, you can add custom search engines to Vivaldi and decide which one is default for your distro users.
For example, if you want to offer DuckDuckGo as a default search engine, this method will allow you to do that.
Egendefinerte bokmerker
Finally, you can add custom Speed Dials or bookmarks so that users can easily access the websites that are important to your distro.
If bookmark collections were created specifically for your Linux distro, they would be available on Start Page and in any pre-existing bookmark folders.
Loved by everyone, from distro managers to regular Linux users
In our repos, Manjaro always provides the very latest version of Vivaldi, and thanks to direct developer contact we are now also able to include matching default themes for our editions.

Keep up the great work. As a Linux user in a Microsoft heavy technology company, I use Vivaldi a LOT for Teams, Outlook Email & Calendar, and it all just works so much better than it did in Firefox.
@vivaldibrowser I am surprised to find your in-browser email client so much better than the #Linux email clients I have tested so far, specially the conversation view 🙌 and the quick commands makes is such an ease! you guys nailed it!

For me @vivaldibrowser is my first stop whenever I install any distro (mostly Manjaro). It's private, has tons of customizations options, you can modify it as you feel, and looks beautiful in both Gnome & KDE.

Someone on a known #Linux project said:
Best way to survive Firefox!
sudo eopkg install vivaldi-stable
sudo eopkg install vivaldi-snapshot
😉😉😉
The team at @vivaldibrowser are always innovating and improving. If you haven't tried their browser yet, you are definitely missing out.

Hvorfor Vivaldi er perfekt for Linux
Dyp tilpasning
Vivaldi is the browser that lets you create a workflow that's uniquely yours, with customizable shortcuts, gestures, and customizable menus. Adjust the position, size, and appearance of the browser's UI elements to make it work exactly how you want.
Innebygde funksjoner
Linux users are a diverse bunch, but there's one thing we've always agreed on: out-of-the-box features matter. That's why we’ve loaded Vivaldi with features that appeal to Linux users and make it a great choice for anyone who wants granular control over their browsing experience.
ARM-støtte
Vivaldi treats all Linux users as first-class citizens and ensures that everyone can take advantage of the latest browser features and improvements. That's why we're proud to be one of the few Linux browsers that run on ARM processors. It's available in DEB or RPM packages, so you can install it on any Linux distribution you like.
Personvernfokusert
Vivaldi is built with privacy and security as a priority. We believe unnecessary data collection is dangerous, so we do not track or profile you. Instead, we focus on building a browser that puts you in control!
From one-size-fits-all to deep customization
We believe deeply in freedom of choice, so we've created a Linux browser for all tastes—from those who want a more traditional browsing experience with a familiar look and feel to those who prefer something more experimental and unique.
