Новости и полезная информация от команды Vivaldi
Starting work on version 1.5 of Vivaldi, with a fix for HTML5 Audio and Video and a bunch more improvements. Check out the details of our latest Snapshot below.
In today’s snapshot we use a new version of our logo to help show the difference between snapshots and stable builds, added new options for web panels and per tab zoom as been set as the new default.
Today’s snapshot is a test version of a small update for our 1.3 stable, to address some serious bugs that you have been reporting. If no (new) regressions are found we will rebuild it for the stable update channel and pass it on to our stable users shortly.
Note: This build is version 1.3.551.37, the stable update will be 1.3.551.38. They are effectively the same build but pull updates from different channels (snapshot and stable respectively).
Today’s second snapshot, is the first release candidate for Vivaldi version 1.3.
Even if no major issues are found, Vivaldi will be rebuilt for the stable update stream before it is released.
This morning’s snapshot includes almost everything we need for 1.3. The following build will be the release candidate.
When reporting issues below, please focus on regressions since the previous snapshot. If you want to discuss new features or long standing issues to be addressed after 1.3, please use our forums.
Happy Monday! Another round of critical bugfixes as we close on our 1.3 stable release.

We are busy working on getting 1.3 ready for a release to our stable stream. As such here is another update with a focus on bug squashing.
At this stage, to prevent delaying the 1.3 stable release, we are primarily interested in anything that has broken since 1.2 stable. You can help us by staying on topic and highlighting these issues below. If you want to discuss new features or long standing issues to be addressed after 1.3, please use our forums. As always, thanks for your help. We could not do this without you!
Just a quick update to let you try out all our latest fixes from this week.
In Today’s snapshot we address some of the problems you raised in the last snapshot, including fixing the private window crash on Mac, selection of the custom background image and the broken proprietary media on Linux. We also made the Linux proprietary media system more robust on Ubuntu and added additional support for OpenSUSE and Slackware users.
