The Web’s Fairy Godmother joins Vivaldi

I’m very pleased to share the good news that Molly E. Holzschlag has joined Vivaldi to help us forge closer connections to the developers who help shape the web. Molly needs little introduction but I will still attempt to do so.

For decades, Molly has been one of the most passionate, outspoken and effective advocates, educators and communicators in service to the open web. She has written dozens of books, hundreds if not thousands of articles, and helped shape the web from its infancy. Her life mission has seen her travel the world to share knowledge and her efforts have been acknowledged by numerous awards, most recently the O’Reilly Web Platform Award. And she has been called the Web’s “Godmother”.

I could go on. Suffice to say, Molly is the perfect person to help us work with developers to make the web more open and inclusive for all. Vivaldi and Molly share a common vision that puts the individual at the center. We’re idealists. We want more options, more inclusiveness, more user control. That’s why we originally made Vivaldi. Now we feel the time is right to spread that message further.

Welcome Molly!
